The Festetics Horse Race, held in Gyenesdiás, is a regional qualifying race of the National Gallop. This location, which originally served as a training site for the horses owned by Tasziló Festetics is an excellent spot for the qualifier of the National Gallop. The event organised each year at the end of August evokes the era when horse breeding and racing were going through their golden age in Hungary.
